knows not he knows
Think
I heard something and my reaction was … how could you be so stupid?
It was discussing scientists and psychologists and that they are beginning to admit that maybe there is something after life.
The discussion had the flavor of, the sense of, that society was waiting for the scientists to help validate the bedrock understandings of faith.
So, let me get this correct.
You are waiting on scientists … some of whom cannot figure out what a man is, what a woman is, and who think a man can have a baby … you are waiting on these people to tell you that the claims of Jesus Christ are correct?
You are putting your future into the hands of people who say men can have babies?
Why?
How can you be so stupid? I can’t say it any other way. I know some people don’t like the word “stupid” but what other word is adequate in this situation?
Please think about whose advice you are following and whether those people are worthy of your time, attention, or money. If they lie to you once, they will lie to you again.
A scientist who says a man can have a baby, or a newscaster who says that with a straight face, is not worthy of my attention. In that case, I need to find a better professional, whether scientist, newscaster, or corporation.
“He who knows not, and knows not he knows not, is a fool; shun him.
He who knows not, and knows he knows not, is simple; teach him.
He who knows, and knows not he knows, is asleep; awaken him.
He who knows, and knows he knows, is wise; follow him.”
This saying is attributed to various people. I think the reason is that some of these old quotes, having gone into the public domain, are now picked up by modern people as if they had originated it, which I doubt. I would pick one of the older voices as the originator. The better brain power for the most part existed a few centuries back when the Constitution was written. If you say that there are intelligent people, but they support wokeness, are they really that intelligent? If these voices say there is no God, are they really that intelligent? They may have a certain IQ, but if they are not being intellectually honest, then they are merging their intelligence with some kind of a lie or deception for honor from man, power, money, or fear of being exposed, or for some temptation from satan.
These temptations still exist. And when politicians take the bait, they no longer operate for the good of the people, for the good of the office, but for their own political gain and power. Look around at the daily news for confirmation.
Luke 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
There are some worth listening to, including in the past. And there are some in the present, like Archbishop Viganò, but those voices are suppressed.
Hebrews 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) ….
There are some persons worth listening to, including authors from the past. Some, including some of the present time, are not worth listening to and are a waste of time.
When someone in authority states an obvious lie, like a man can have a baby, why do you believe the lie?
How many times do you need to be lied to to figure out the liar does not have your best interests at heart? That liar can be a government, newscaster, TV show, scientist, person in the administrative state, or corporation.
“For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance, he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.”
Robert Jastrow
Speaking of thinking, here is something from RT (Russia Today). Their quote, “They think you believe. We believe you think,” shows they recognize that some of us at least don’t fall for the US propaganda drivel.
It’s quite funny with talent comparable to the Babylon Bee.
